Hi Mike, our last Torrance event was on May 1st at the Pep Boys on Sepulveda. The City takes the summer off, and we usually get started again in September or October, but those dates haven’t been set yet.

Hi Dale, L.A. County Dept of Public Works has a program of events to drop-off tires. However, because of COVID-19, the County has suspended these events temporarily. There are a few private businesses that will recycle a large amount of tires for a small fee. You can view those locations here: https://pw.lacounty.gov/epd/tirerecycling/ListOfFacilities.cfm In addition, most tire retailers and repair shops will take an old tire and recycle it. The fee is usually around $5-$10 per tire. You can also find companies that accept tires by using this search engine and entering your zip code: https://www2.calrecycle.ca.gov/Tires/Facilities/Search/ Thanks for your question!
