Take advantage of the City of Torrance&#8217;s Earth Day Recycling Event to dispose of old paper documents and electronic waste safely, responsibly, and for FREE!<\/p>\n<ul class=\"list check\">\n<li><strong>When<\/strong>: Saturday, April 21, 2018 <strong>\/<\/strong> 8am to 12noon<\/li>\n<li><strong>Where<\/strong>: Torrance City Hall employee parking lot <strong>\/<\/strong> near the Torrance Courthouse, off Maple Avenue (<a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/GXj7nMSQqbK2\">map<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li><strong>How<\/strong>: Remember, ONLY bring paper for shredding<strong>*<\/strong> and electronic waste for recycling; NO Household Hazardous Waste accepted.<strong>**<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Why<\/strong>: To keep Torrance Clean and Green!<\/li>\n<\/ul><br \/>\n[\/box]<\/p>\n<p><strong>*<\/strong>Limit 8 boxes or bags of paper per vehicle; no magazines, file folders, 3-ring binders, or books.<\/p>\n<p><strong>**<\/strong>Hazardous wastes include batteries, paint, medications, flourescent lightbulbs, and Sharps.
